Sharpe Ratio — What It Means
Formula: Avg DART Spread ÷ Std Dev of DART Spread  ·  Baseline: DA price (your hedge / risk-free rate)  ·  Window: Rolling 5 days × 24 hourly observations = up to 120 data points per node
A positive Sharpe means DA consistently beat RT on average relative to its volatility — locking in the DA price was the better strategy and the DA hedge outperformed. A negative Sharpe means RT consistently exceeded DA relative to volatility — RT dispatch would have captured more value than the DA commitment. Higher absolute value = stronger signal. Near zero = noisy, no clear edge either way.
